What can you do to save your relationship?
If you truly want to save your relationship, there are some techniques that can help people that have had trouble in their relationships.
These tactics have been used for many different teachers and counselors in order to make relationships work.
Remember though, these tactics can be different for all relationships.
If your situation is different than what this blog discusses, the tactic might be different for you.
One of the most important things is that you need to acknowledge that hostile communication patterns are hurtful.
This needs to be changed in order to begin fixing the relationship.
Blaming your partner or spouse happens when certain needs come along.
A great example of this is here: Bob needs help filling out an application for a job he is interested in taking.
He feels like he does not have the right words to say that will help him get the job.
He wants his wife to help him to write these requirements for him so that he will be accepted for the position.
Bob’s wife Susie does not want to help Bob write the requirements because she does not feel that it is her job to do this for him.
She says to Bob, “There is no reason for you to apply for this job, I told you that. You didn’t listen to me. Now you can’t even fill out the application and it has been bothering you for days. If you want to send in that application, then write the requirements yourself!”
